Villa Rosalia

There were 16 of us, 10 adults and 6 kids, and we all had plenty of space. The sleeping rooms are apart from the living areas, so people could turn in without disturbing everyone else. The owner was kind and supplied three camping cots for the children under two. They even mailed a replacement part for a booster seat one of my kids had left behind, at no charge. We spent two nights over the weekend of December 8, 2022, in a very large house across four levels. Downstairs there’s indoor parking for two cars, table football, a sink, and a sofa. At garden level are a kitchen with a huge table, an entrance hall, a living room with another kitchenette, two bathrooms, and two fireplaces. The next floor has five bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a hydromassage tub and shower. There’s also an attic bedroom and bathroom, reached by a spiral staircase. Outside, the big garden has two levels, with a table, pergola, and barbecue area on one, and the pool on the other. A welcoming place, and I’d recommend it in winter or summer.

The yard is huge and kept in good shape. Inside, the building was clean, roomy, and really pleasing. Seems like a great spot for a family holiday or a larger group.

The owners and caretakers were right there whenever we needed something, which made the stay easy. It’s a wonderful old house, kept in perfect condition. I highly recommend the villa. Thank you, Grazie & Hvala, for everything!

There was barely any coffee or milk when we arrived. The villa had no cleaning supplies, dish soap, shampoo, or bath soap, and only tiny amounts of salt, oil, sugar, and peppercorns, despite these being listed in the villa’s specifications. Really disappointing.
