My fiancée and I had a great stay at this BNB last year, so we booked again for the harvest this year and asked for the same room. We reserved two months ahead to make sure we got it. But at the last minute, when I called to confirm our arrival, CINZIA told me she'd given our booked room to other guests because they were staying longer. I was speechless. She also said that if I didn't want the other room she'd chosen for us, I could find somewhere else to stay. This was outrageous. The customer service was the worst ever.

The host was very helpful, and the accommodation was lovely. Our room was a little too close to the local clock tower, which chimes every half hour through the night. Bring earplugs and you'll be fine. I'd have given five stars otherwise.

The building's unique character, its ceiling, the service, and the location were all pluses. Breakfast came from the mediocre coffee shop across the street, even though there are much better options just a few meters away. A coffee machine in the room would have been a nice addition.

The old building was cool, but it sits right next to a church tower. The bell rang past midnight, and it felt like I was sleeping inside it. The beds felt like marble, and the pillows were about as thick as folded cardboard. The property manager was unsympathetic.

I wish we'd been able to stay longer. The photos don't do the place justice; in person it's much better and full of charm. Well-deserved five stars.
