We spent the five nights wishing we could leave. Mosquitoes were in the room as soon as we arrived, and my husband and I were bitten several times within minutes. Reception blamed the weather and said there was nothing to do except keep the AC running. That made the room freezing at night. The following day we learned the temperature was fixed and couldn’t be adjusted. Staff said to turn the unit off at the room’s switch box if we got cold, though its switches were confusing and guests shouldn’t have to figure that out. So each night we had to choose between being cold or turning it off and getting bitten. It made the whole holiday uncomfortable. We raised the AC problem with reception, but nothing meaningful was done. Breakfast was repetitive, and the reply we later received felt childish. Blaming mosquitoes on the pleasant “scent” of breakfast was simply unacceptable. Other reviews mention the same mosquito and AC problems, yet the hotel keeps making excuses instead of fixing them. The lack of solutions and care shows a lack of responsibility. Until management takes these complaints seriously, I can’t recommend this hotel.

The tub was nice, but the rest of the night was rough. We were charged $15 per person for breakfast, and there weren’t any restaurants nearby. The food was the worst we had on the trip. A cab was quoted at 50 euros and ended up costing 55, and the driver went far too fast. The room was 24C, and its built-in AC didn’t work. They said the central unit was functional, but it was set to heat only. Opening the window meant dealing with mosquitoes. At check-in, they handed us a scrap of paper with another person’s passport details on it. We didn’t say anything right away because we weren’t sure whether they had written down our passport details too.

The staff were so friendly, and we had a special stay in Milan. We were there for four nights, and the homemade breakfast was really good every time. There was so much to choose from, including meats and cheeses, pastries, cheese breads, jams, and cakes. The hot chocolate was divine! Thanks so much to the team. 🌹

The rooms were unbearably hot, and the AC barely cooled them, even with 36°C outside. The hotel sets it to 26°C to save costs, leaving guests uncomfortable. There were lots of biting insects too, which made the stay even worse. I can’t recommend this terrible place, and it definitely wasn’t worth the money. The staff were good, but that didn’t make up for the poor air conditioning.
