Hotel Tita Piaz

The mountain and valley views were stunning in every direction, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, well furnished and private. They also stayed cool in summer, and there was plenty of parking and an elevator to every floor. The family who owns the hotel were friendly, helpful and full of useful information. Martina was especially lovely, always glad to answer our questions about the area. You could see how much effort went into making guests feel comfortable. When we came back one evening, the staff even reminded us about the included breakfast we'd forgotten about. It was delicious. My partner and I have travelled around Europe several times, and this was easily the best place we've stayed. We visited from Australia in August and will recommend it to our friends.

We stayed in a very clean family room with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a small balcony, just right for our family of five. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful, and the location in Pecol beside the chairlift meant we could ski right back to the hotel. We chose half board and were initially unsure about eating at the hotel for both breakfast and dinner, but the food was exceptional. The chef made delicious homemade pasta, dumplings and everything else we tried. The bar was also a lovely place to have a drink after skiing before dinner. We'd happily stay at Hotel Tita Piaz again and highly recommend this family-run hotel.

We booked at the very last minute and got a huge room for four, with plenty of space for two couples. It was quiet, and there was a door out to a little backyard with a view of the forest below the mountains. Before we arrived, the owners took the time to FaceTime us and show us the room, which we really appreciated. We got there late in the day after the gondola to the nearest town had closed, I think around 5:30, and it was raining. The lovely family who run the place put together a cozy meal of meat, cheese and bread since we had nowhere else to eat. They really went above and beyond. Breakfast was amazing too, and I highly recommend the hotel. Our bathroom was downstairs, but it was private to us, clean and spacious.

The food was very good, and the welcome and service were warm and friendly. We could easily reach the restaurant from the cable cars and ski slopes, and bringing our little dog inside was no problem. We’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it.
