Managheri Wine Bar

Giuseppe and his family made our time in Oliena so enjoyable. He knows the area well and gave us good suggestions for things to do and people to meet. Giuseppe doesn't speak much English, but his daughter is quite fluent, so communicating was never a problem. Everyone was kind and helpful throughout our nine nights at the Managheri Wine Bar. We'd happily stay again. We worried that the rooms above the restaurant might be noisy, but it was always quiet and I was never disturbed. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the shades kept out the light and street noise. Breakfast was plentiful, with pastries, cake, fresh fruit, and delicious coffee. The restaurant food was delicious, especially the antipasti. Two of us had special dietary needs, and they went out of their way to make food we could eat. The cocktails were the best, especially the negroni, and the wine was outstanding.
