Azimut Sosta Camper-Residence

I've been "forced" to stay in one of the cabins here more than once, because my friends chose the place, and every visit has been awful. The units are cramped and filthy, with tiny bathrooms that can't really be used. The facility is run down, and the managers are rude and aggressive, often shouting over little things. Several friends say the campground next door is cleaner and more comfortable, with much friendlier, more helpful managers. I'd strongly recommend staying there instead.

The beach is right across the road, with a fully equipped beach area, and the location also works well for going on excursions or just relaxing. I’ve just come back from a short stay at the Residence and had a very positive impression. The apartment had all the comforts you’d want by the sea, and the staff were helpful. Valeria was especially attentive and friendly.

The area is lovely, which makes the state of the neglected, unrepaired property all the more disappointing. It has been closed since August 3rd. I ask the owner not to make things up: I arrived on the evening of July 27, 2019, and left on the afternoon of July 29, 2019. I also have photos taken by the camper, with the building next to the apartments behind me and its "no smoking" sign visible on the wall. The owners are unfriendly.

We had a great stay. The pitch was shady and clean, and it’s just a short walk to the town center and that beautiful sea. The owners were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are a bit dated, sure, but they’re fine to use, with hot water and everything. We’ll come back and bring friends. We chose camping to enjoy nature, so I don’t have much patience for silly complaints. Ants are everywhere in summer, even at home. Just be prepared and enjoy your holiday. If all you want to do is criticize, you might as well stay home.
