Mauro can pick you up at the Alghero arrivals terminal if you ask, for an extra fee. He's very helpful, and a young Sardinian who returned after years in Northern Europe, someone worth getting to know. Il Cortile del Sole ☀️ is a quiet, simple place with all the comforts I needed for a stay of several days. There are two separate, very spacious rooms and a shared bathroom, also spacious, clean, well cared for, and with a window. Its special touch is the lovely inner courtyard garden, where you can look at the stars in the evening or have breakfast early in the morning.

We needed a place for our last night in Sardinia, close to the Porto Torres ferry, and the location worked really well. The host was fantastic, attentive, and explained everything clearly in Spanish. The room was comfortable, and the shared kitchen had breakfast items. The only drawback was having to use a shared bathroom outside the room, though there weren't many guests, so it wasn't an issue.

Mauro was courteous and quick to help. The kitchen is well equipped, and the property has what travelers need. The bathroom was spotless and had all the necessary amenities. A very good choice if you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, and attentive management.
