The price feels far too high for what you get, and the place comes across as dark and unwelcoming. It was dirty and untidy too, with a vacuum cleaner left in the corridor beside empty bottles. I'd avoid it.

We really liked the garden and pool, especially with so many sunbeds to choose from. The hotel has a charming little-castle look, and the people working there were friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was good, and the medium-firm beds and pillows were comfortable. It's a handy base for wineries, sights, and hikes. We'd happily return.
