The owner was kind and helpful, and breakfast was good, though quite basic. B&B Corso Italia is right in central Orbetello, a convenient base for the area. Our room was clean on arrival and nicely decorated. Since the street is pedestrianized, you can’t park there, but the B&B gave us a voucher for nearby resident parking, which worked well. The noise made this an unrelaxing stay. There’s a bar next door playing loud music until 1:30 at night. Earplugs from the B&B made weekdays manageable, but Saturday karaoke was so loud we couldn’t sleep until it ended. Our room also wasn’t cleaned during the stay: the bins stayed full, there were no toilet paper refills, and the bed wasn’t made. The other four B&Bs we stayed in did those things, so I wouldn’t stay here again.

A shared bathroom was fine by us because it was spotlessly clean, and the room had air conditioning. There’s no self catering, but restaurants are only a few metres away. It’s a reasonable price for a bed right in the centre of Orbetello. The road is pedestrianised, so you can’t park close by. The proprietor lent us a parking permit for our stay, saving us about £40.

A handy base for exploring the argentario peninsula, right on Orbetello’s main street. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. You can’t leave the car outside the building, so you’ll need to use a parking lot farther away from the B&B.

The cutest little place I’ve ever stayed in, and such a lovely one too!

This felt like a scam. They overbooked the accommodation and waited until the last possible moment to tell me, then offered another, more expensive place to rent.
