Hotel Da Renato

The raw shrimp with burrata and pasta butarga were divine, and they were my first time trying those dishes. Save room for the apple cake too. Everything was just perfect.

The clam linguine was my favorite dish of our whole Italy trip. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and the place is gorgeous, it would be amazing for a wedding reception. This was one of our absolute favorite places to eat. I’m still thinking about it a month later, and even googled it to look at the pictures and remember it. Thank you!

The owners were so friendly, and the hotel was clean, with big rooms and very comfortable beds. Everything you need for a good rest. Breakfast was a treat, with homemade cake, croissants, and anything else you wanted. We had dinner too, and I’d recommend the fish since it’s their specialty.

I stopped here for a decent meal on my last evening in Tuscany. Since it was Friday, we booked ahead, and it was indeed busy. I started with the tagliere maremmano, a mixed cold cuts and cheese antipasto. The amount was just right, not too much or too little, and both the cured meats and cheese were decent. For my main I had the DOC pizza, a good size and topped with the usual tomato and mozzarella, plus truffle cream and Bresaola. The dough was light and crispy, just how I like it, and the little pieces of truffle went really well with the Bresaola. Good value, with friendly and professional staff. Happy to give it five stars. If you’re unsure where to go, this place is worth a visit.
