Apartment Orio

The owner communicates very thoroughly, and the apartment has all the basics for a comfortable stay. It’s well heated, very clean, smells fresh, and the bathroom is comfortable and works well. The airport is an easy walk along a straightforward road, about 20-30 minutes away. Outside sounds do come through, especially bells and planes. I knew about the location already, but someone else might expect better soundproofing. One suggestion to make an already excellent stay even better: offer a few extra guest comforts, even for a fee, for people arriving at unusual times. I’d still say it was excellent.

It’s almost right behind the runway, so the airport is very close, about a 6-minute drive or 20 minutes on foot. There isn’t parking nearby, which is the drawback. They send all the information on arrival day. The tourist tax is €5.

I’d definitely recommend it. The apartment is spacious, kept in great shape, and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed. Even though it’s near the airport, about a 30-minute walk away, it was quiet. Coffee and tea were provided, and getting in touch with the owner was easy.

We stayed for one night before our flight, and the airport was an easy 20-minute walk away. Everything worked fine. The apartment had a slightly musty smell, but otherwise all was okay.
