The room was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was spotless with hot water. They’d left a basic breakfast in the room: a croissant, a couple of toasted bread slices, Nutella, jam, instant coffee, and tea. The main downside was the bed, the mattress really needs replacing. There was no heating, either. Keep in mind you’re right beside the airport, so planes land from time to time and can be noisy if you’re sensitive to that. It’s a handy place for an early flight, around a 20-minute walk to the airport.

The rooms were clean and the place was good, with the airport about a 20-minute walk away. Still, the bed was really, really uncomfortable. That was the biggest drawback.

We left without staying after a very unpleasant exchange with the host. We’d seen a €63 offer for a twin room on Booking as premium guests and went straight there because we were nearby. She first said she could do €60, which I understood clearly because I speak Italian, and we checked again. Then she wrote up a bill for €70, saying that was the room price. When I showed her the €63 offer, she told us we should book through Booking. While this was going on, she was saying a lot of nasty things in Italian. We didn’t want to be treated that way, so we walked out. I’m amazed someone can run a B&B with that kind of attitude toward guests.

The terrace was pleasant, and there are nice pizza places nearby. It’s a good location for the airport, roughly a 20-minute walk, though the planes make it very noisy.

It can get noisy at times, but it worked well for a stop between flights. The airport is very close, about a 20-minute walk.
