Villa Delle Rose

The room was clean and comfortable, and I loved the location near the center and lots of nice restaurants. Service was good and the staff were amazing. But breakfast really wasn’t worth the money. We only tried it once during our 3-day stay because it was so poor: the bread was very dry and hard, there weren’t many options like bread or butter, and whole apples were left on the table without being cut or cleaned. There was no hot food, the croissants were stale, and the cake seemed to be from the previous day and had been left open for a long time. Coffee was available only on request, and communication was tough since not all the staff speak English.

The people were kind, and for the price you can get some sleep. The hotel was generally clean and tidy, but the shower head was very dirty, covered in black fungus, and unpleasant to use. At night I could hear every step from the room above, like an elephant dancing. I think that may be because it’s an old building. It’s a nice, small, kind hotel, and good for one night overall, but those two things bothered me.

We had a pleasant stay, and the staff were nice too.

The staff were lovely, the rooms fairly large and clean, and the food was tasty too.
