Eleonora Room & Breakfast

We had no idea when booking that Eleonora B&B sits right on Oristano's main square. It turned out to be a lovely surprise and a great base for exploring the Gulf of Oristano. Andrea was a fantastic host, full of Sardinian warmth and willing to go out of his way to make our stay memorable. Breakfast was delicious too. He asked which croissants we liked, then had fresh ones ready every morning, Sundays included. The common area is a lovely place to relax, with what seem to be original floors and restored ceilings that hint at the building's history. It's furnished warmly, as are the cosy rooms, and stocked with plenty of information about the city and the legendary festival, Sa Sartiglia. Andrea also lent us a spare set of keys so we could leave our luggage after checkout. When we accidentally ended up with a fuel voucher worth 50 euros, he bought it from us and even made an extra trip to the hotel so we wouldn't miss our train. I wholeheartedly recommend Eleonora B&B. My experience was 10/10!

The best part was the croissant. At check-in, Andrea, the owner, host and futbol coach, asked which kind I liked and suggested a few. I picked pistachio without thinking much of it, then found a fresh, awesome pistachio croissant on my plate the next morning. My room and bathroom were spotless, and Andrea's restaurant suggestion was spectacular. At 71 Euros, about 80 dollars, the price was more than fair. Thank you!

Andrea was a super host, and everything in the B&B was clean. It's right in the town center, and he got us fresh croissants for breakfast, which was good. The shower was clean, though it could use renewing.

Andrea was very kind, the rooms looked beautiful, and breakfast was delicious too.
