Anticos Palathos

Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and my partner and I had a perfect start to our trip in Sardinia. We spent three beautiful, calm, enjoyable days there and really liked the wine, breakfast, and service. A special mention for Andrea. Late at night, we got stuck in the old-town streets with a rented 4x4, which raised the tension, as you can imagine. Andrea sorted it out calmly and respectfully, and made the whole situation feel enjoyable. He genuinely saved our evening and set the best tone for the trip.

This is a beautiful old hotel with charming architecture. In the off-season it was very quiet, though some rooms face the main road and may get quite a bit of noise. The 'matrimoniale superior' room was spacious, but the bathroom wasn’t ideal. Some of that is due to the limits of an old building, though the fittings could have been much better too. Breakfast was okay, neither bad nor the best I’ve had. Staff were generally helpful and spoke good English.

We had a lovely three-night stay in October. The old building has quirky room decor, and the location is right in the center. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and breakfast had a good buffet. Our room, Corolla, smelled quite smoky from the chimney, though, so I took off a star.

The reception team were so friendly, and the service was great. The hotel is lovely, the town is beautiful, and the wifi worked well too. I'd happily stay here again.
