Palazzo Guglielmo Albergo Diffuso

We only wish we'd stayed longer. The grounds are genuinely stunning, and the room was lovely, with great amenities. The hotel is in a really cute town near the water, about 30 minutes from Otranto and 40 minutes from Lecce. The staff are fantastic, and they put on themed dinners a few nights a week. Be sure to try the free spa experience!

We came here to unwind away from a big city, and it had everything we wanted: huge rooms, a massive garden, a gym, spa, pool, and bikes you can take free to the beach. The staff were incredibly helpful. It's a lovely stay in a sleepy town, and I only wish we'd stayed longer.

The location worked so well for exploring coves, beaches, and coastal towns. There are lovely local restaurants nearby, plus others about a 25 minute drive away, and Lecce is close enough for an easy day trip. All the staff were amazing, and breakfast was EXCELLENT! We stayed at Palazzo Gugliemo in October with our family, two adults and a toddler, and had a fantastic time. The grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained, especially the dreamy citrus grove in the daytime and evening. There are swings and trampolines for little ones, pleasant shared areas for afternoon tea or reading, and a good spa that we used on both days because October was cooler. The rooms are bright, huge, and spacious. Our suite was perfect for our young family. We'd definitely recommend it and come back.

The grounds, pool, and terrace were especially lovely. Along our walk of the Via Francigena we stayed at some fabulous places, but this was the nicest one. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was great, the spa was cool, and the workout facilities were more substantial than you'd expect at a smaller property. Wow, what a wonderful hotel.
