A sweet place for my holiday, with great views and a big, clean room. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to Ortisei centre and the cable cars.

The hostess was extremely nice and the price was great for what you get. Breakfast was fantastic. It is a little far out, but the bus stop is very close and the buses run pretty often.

The breakfast was sufficient and I had a good stay at Garni. My room was spacious and clean, and Erna, the hostess, speaks some basic English. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the centre, but I found a couple of bus tricks that saved me a lot of hassle. You can download sudtirolmobil to check bus times. To get to piazza st antonio, take bus 355.4, which stops right in front at Garni station: Miraortosei. Morning times include around 7.40am and 8.35am. For the return from piazza st antonio, I usually check the times posted at the piazza, then go grocery shopping or get a gelato if the bus isn't coming soon. The bus back shows “Ronc”. Great value for money!

There are plenty of parking spots, and we were given bus tickets and maps, which was nice. The staff are friendly, and the view is beautiful. The hotel could use some renovations, and anyone expecting a fancy room or bathroom might be disappointed.

Basic service at good value, tucked away from it all in St Ulrich. The bus system is very complicated. Google may direct you up a very steep hill, so take the bus to Antoniusplatz and wait for the little 355.4 bus to Grien.
