The atmosphere was so warm and cozy, and in December the decor made it feel like we were in a Christmas movie. Our room was magnificent, with comfortable beds, plenty of space, and a large balcony where we could sit and enjoy the view over Ortisei. We’ve stayed in hotels all over the world, and Hotel Montchalet is our absolute favorite. The service was unmatched, and from the moment we arrived we felt truly welcome and looked after. If we return to Ortisei, this is the only hotel we’ll stay at. It’s perfect.

The decor is beautiful and eclectic, which gives the hotel a lot of charm. We spent four nights in a roomy, comfortable suite with a lovely outdoor area, a jacuzzi, and deer grazing in the field nearby. Breakfast and the service were fantastic, and Paolo even learned to make my favorite cocktail. We stayed in several high-end hotels on this trip, and this was easily our best experience.

The staff really went out of their way for us, even unloading and loading the car and showing us around the facilities. Breakfast was incredible, and I loved the modern room and eclectic decor. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I can’t say enough good things about it.

The room had a great view, and breakfast was spectacular. The Italians working here were so friendly. There’s also a free shuttle to the Seceda and Alpe de susi cable car, so parking wasn’t a worry.

After miles of biking and hiking, having a hot tub right in the suite was a real treat. Our room had everything we needed, and breakfast was perfect every day; we enjoyed the aperitivos just as much. The staff stood out for their friendliness and great service. We had an outstanding stay at Montchalet and will definitely be back.
