The owners were really kind when I arrived in the evening. Since I had to leave early the next morning, they gave me breakfast to take along. The place is right in the center of Ortona, and the rooms are very spacious. I’d book here again.

We stopped here for the night while heading south and had dinner at their wonderful restaurant. We sat outside with views over the Adriatic sea and port.

Right in the center of Ortona, practically behind the theater, so you’re in the heart of things as soon as you step outside. The rooms are spacious and the place was spotless. Breakfast is at one of two partner cafes nearby, where the pastries are amazing. One thing to know: getting to the rooms means climbing steep stairs, so it won’t suit guests with disabilities or mobility issues.

The kindness of the staff was unmatched. Our room, number 2, was on the second floor and had a small, useful kitchenette. It was spacious, spotless, simply furnished but lovely. I especially liked the shower soap dispenser, the coffee machine with pods, and the bathroom makeup mirror. Little touches, but they made the stay really comfortable. There’s an excellent pastry shop around the corner included in the breakfast deal, and the center of Ortona is a short walk away. You can leave the car parked, though spaces are scarce. The place is about a 15-minute drive from Via dei Trabocchi. I’ve already recommended it to everyone I know. 🤣
