Mario was fantastic, so welcoming and full of useful tidbits and recommendations. His place is lovely, with the charming feel of the Italian small-town life I’d imagined. We found a fantastic neighborhood restaurant within walking distance, and the beaches and other sights were ideally close. The place was clean and welcoming, and the stay felt authentic. Thanks, Mario and your lovely family. We’ll be back!

Mario was so kind and welcoming, ready to help with whatever we needed. The rooms are spacious, and the thick walls keep the temperature just right. It’s a wonderful base for exploring both the coast and the mountains.

My boyfriend and I stayed at “Il Secolo Breve” in August, among the Abruzzo vineyards. It felt magical, almost like a fairytale, and was the kind of place where you can really enjoy a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Mario was fantastic, warm, kind, and helpful. His advice helped us make the most of the area and made our trip feel truly special.

The owner feels like a dear friend, as well as a professional, and goes out of his way to make sure you’re happy. He can point you toward beautiful places and help you experience Abruzzo like a local. This rustic, romantic spot is surrounded by nature and silence, a place to relax and recharge. It’s about 15 minutes from the sea, but the trip is worth it. Highly recommend.

It has a rustic, romantic feel, and being there reminded me of my great-grandmother’s house. The owner is incredibly kind and makes you feel at home. It’s a peaceful haven in the middle of nature. The sea isn’t especially close, but Abruzzo is full of things to discover. I’d definitely recommend it if you like simple places.
