The hotel was nice, with a great pool, and our superior room was clean and pleasant. Late checkout was available for a 40 euro fee. Although it's right by the beach, you have to pay for an umbrella, and hotel guests paying for umbrellas and seats have a small separate area. We couldn't choose our spot, and although plenty were open, the front row was marked as booked. It felt a bit overpriced for what was included and for the extra charges, though the stay was good overall.

The decor is tasteful, everything is super clean, and the employees are kind, polite and efficient. Breakfast was excellent too. It's a beautiful hotel in a stunning beachfront location.

Right over the beach in Lido Riccio, this is an excellent hotel with nice modern rooms. The beach club service, including towels, was perfect. Everyone was extremely kind and made us feel at home, with a friendly, family atmosphere.

The staff's kindness and helpfulness, especially Angelica's, is what we'll remember most. We were the only Americans and the only English-speaking guests during our four-night stay in early July 2014, which I was told was typical, but we felt completely welcome. Our two-room family suite overlooked the Adriatic. It was okay, with no real complaints, though not especially impressive. The setting is beautiful, with a sandy beach lined with chairs and umbrellas you can rent by the day or pay for as part of your stay. The water was just right in temperature, protected by wave-breaking walls, and gradually deepened to a little over 6'. The pool area is large. We had breakfast at the hotel and lunch at the cafe/bar a few times, and the food was fine. Dinner at the sister hotel's restaurant next door was divine, though pricey. We also tried some more affordable places attached to nearby hotels within walking distance and enjoyed them. I'd strongly suggest a short drive or bus trip into Ortona for its charming small-town feel. Pescara is a bit farther north if you'd prefer a larger city. We will certainly return to this gem.
