Caterina is a lovely host, and the place itself is stunning. We had a wonderful stay and would happily repeat it next time we're in the area. The pool is wonderful too, and don't miss dinner, it was really delicious. We highly recommend Agriturismo Lapone.

I loved every part of my stay. The place is gorgeous and peaceful, and the hosts were so warm and welcoming. I booked dinner when I was tired and just wanted to rest, without expecting much, but it turned out to be a beautifully prepared four-course meal made from scratch. If you like home-cooked food, you'll love it here. They were also extremely welcoming to babies and families, which made the stay extra special. A little piece of heaven and a real gem. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

A car accident meant our repair was going to take a week. Luckily, even in August high season, we found a room and ended up staying six nights. After such a stressful mishap, the pool, terrace, people, food, and wine all made for a wonderful stay. Everyone was warm and charming, the food was excellent, and the owner was very committed and quick to respond. The price was reasonable. Our room had air conditioning, though the evenings cooled off enough that we didn't need to use it much. The property sits among rolling hills, vines, and woods, with places to walk or run right nearby. Thanks to Catharina, Sonja, and all the other lovely people who made our stay so good.

The Umbrian hills make a gorgeous, romantic setting, and the food and service were lovely. Caterina and the other women on staff were fantastic. Their own winery makes excellent wine. My only regret is that I didn't buy a few bottles to take home, which gives me the perfect excuse to visit again. Highly recommended!
