Agriturismo Pomonte

The food was a real highlight, rustic and tasty, with huge portions. Dinner was a four-course meal, antipasti, pasta primo, meat secondo and dessert, though I couldn't manage dessert either night. We also paid for breakfast. With our 7m motorhome, pitch and electricity, dinner and breakfast came to €33 a night. There are about six pitches, with electricity and different rates depending on what you choose. The owners' €4 per person each way ride into Orvieto and back was handy. The only downside was the camper bathroom, just one toilet and shower in a portacabin, and it was a bit ick. Still, lovely people, good food, a great location and very good value.

The staff were so lovely that when I forgot to hand over my key at checkout and had no time to bring it back, the hotel arranged to collect it somewhere convenient for me without complaining. My upstairs room was clean and comfortable, and the property is beautiful. Dinner had a great atmosphere and was superb. I wasn't hungry enough for the multi-course deal, but I did have the apple cake for dessert, one of my favourite dishes ever. Breakfast had everything you need, including barista coffee, and more apple cake! I can't recommend Pomonte enough. Thank you!

The room was comfortable and clean, in a pretty spot away from the crowds. The staff were really friendly, and the food was great and authentic.

We'd just picked up our rented campervan in Rome and chose this place because it was fairly close. The drive here was beautiful, though we arrived as it was getting dark. They showed us the camper area and let us choose a pitch near an electric hookup. In the next two hours the whole campground filled up, so it got very crowded. We cooked in the van to try out its stove and used our own toilet, so we didn't need the separate restroom, though there seemed to be one a short distance away. Breakfast at the restaurant the next morning was good, the service was great, and it was good value.
