10/10
The rooms were very clean and tidy, and breakfast had a good selection. We had a great couple of nights at Hotel Virgilio, which is well placed for exploring Orvieto's shops, restaurants, and cave tours. I'd happily recommend it and would stay again if I return to Orvieto.

Breakfast was very nice, and the service was friendly. The rooms are comfortable, though the shower in ours was small and could be difficult for someone with a larger body. The location is hard to beat, with a magical view of the Duomo.

Our room window looked out on the church, a beautiful view. The hotel is right outside the doumo, so the location is excellent. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the hotel itself was very nice.

This place is magical. It has the best location, feel, and vibe of anywhere we've stayed, and everything has been top shelf.

6/10
The hotel itself is average, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was somewhat limited, the WiFi wasn't exceptional, and the price felt really expensive, even for a beautiful spot like Duomo square in Orvieto. The location on the Duomo side, in an old historic square, is beautiful in daylight and moving at night. The staff were very, very kind and helped us with everything, including when I had trouble finding a place to park the car.
