La Magnolia

So many places to eat are right at the doorstep, and it’s a perfect base for seeing Orvieto. We had a lovely visit and really enjoyed this fabulous B & B. The place was very clean, and breakfast downstairs at the bar had an excellent choice of sweets, meats, fruit and coffee. I’d stay here again.

Serena was warm and welcoming, and the rooms were clean. The location is great, right on the main tourist avenue, though it can get noisy at night if you leave the window open. I’d suggest asking for a room at the back. The one disappointment was the breakfast bar, where the owner was very unwelcoming to tourists.

Serena was personable, helpful and a great host, and the apartment was awesome. The second room we needed was very nice too. The location is fantastic, just steps from the B&B. A useful tip: your funicular ticket also works on the shuttle up to the duomo. Hope to return!

Serena was a very welcoming host, and we’d definitely recommend this B & B near the Duomo in Orvieto. We were mother and daughter sharing twin beds, and the room and bathroom were a good size for two. Breakfast was included at the cafe next door, downstairs.
