Villa Coralia

I’d look elsewhere, since there are plenty of beautiful country houses around Ancona. The host handled things unprofessionally with me: I called twice to settle the price and length of stay, and he confirmed a room was available. After I confirmed by email, he took days to reply, and by then my booking had somehow been replaced by someone else’s.

The room was simple, pleasant, and clean, and the house has a beautiful 270’ view that makes it feel very peaceful. It’s out in the countryside, with villages like Osimo, Camerano, and Castelfidardo about a 10-minute drive away and the coast around 20 minutes away. There’s a large supermarket five minutes away, and the kitchenette is decently equipped. Since they don’t serve lunch or dinner, you’ll need to drive out, though they could offer cold cuts for dinner if you order ahead. We liked Giuseppe and his daughter-in-law, who seemed to handle most of the day-to-day work. The lady of the house, his wife, was somewhat unpleasant. Breakfast was nice, with fresh fruit, charcuterie, bread, pastries, yoghurt, fruit confit, and eggs cooked as you like. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the hospitality.

If you’re visiting Osimo, you should stay here. It’s a spectacular place, and everyone is very kind.

It was comfortable and a good base for local sightseeing, with friendly service, a nice pool, and A/C. Breakfast was healthy too.
