The family running hotel Pittis clearly care about doing things well, and my room was kept clean throughout my two months there. I ate well every day, too. I'd definitely recommend staying, and hope I can come back.

Friuli has lots to do, and this is where I like to stay whenever I'm in the area. It feels like a second home: the rooms are bright, tidy, and comfortable, with very good beds, a strong shower, and effective air conditioning. Breakfast has a tasty selection, and the cafe serves delicious meals with friendly service. A good fit for cyclists and other tourists.

The family who run the hotel gave us local help that led us to homes where our relatives had lived. The publican went out of his way for us, which made the whole experience really wholesome. We also had lunch here, and every dish was simple and just right. Couldn't recommend them more.

The staff were about as welcoming and helpful as you could hope for. We also really liked the pasta in the hotel restaurant. The room was what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel, and the castle is only a ten-minute walk away, with a great view over the surrounding area.

The rooms are neat and big enough for one person, so it works well for business trips. It's a family-run place, and everyone was really friendly. The food is simple and good, and you can see some of the place's history in the pictures at reception. It gets a bit crowded in summer.
