Break Hotel

Breakfast was self-serve and really tasty, and the staff were lovely and polite. It's also quiet and very handy for the highway. We had two rooms, both recently renovated, with comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked better on the second floor than on the third, though the kids said their room was still comfortable. I'd stay here again.

This was my fifth stop at this motel, usually because the location is great, and I'd been satisfied until now. Room 308 was completely run down, with broken AC, a shower that didn't work, and dim lights. The woman at reception wouldn't move us to a decent room, saying all the triple rooms were taken, even though the hotel was practically empty today June 2,2025. I felt she was plainly lying to get rid of us. Pity, this may have been my last visit. I don't like being taken for a ride.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent by Italian standards, with scrambled eggs. The rooms don't seem equally updated, either: there's a big difference between the renovated ones and the others. I took a star off because noise carries very badly between rooms.

The food was good, and the man serving all the tables did his best, though he really needs more help. The rooms have been freshly updated; they're clean and well equipped, if a bit stark. The AC didn't work during our whole stay. Outside, there's a busy industrial estate, the autostrada and the mainline railway, so keeping the window open isn't ideal.
