I stayed overnight because I needed to go to Ferrara with friends the next day. The service was pretty good, and it was a good experience.

CLEAN, WELCOMING, AND FAIRLY PRICED. I ALWAYS RECOMMEND IT, AND I'M NEVER WRONG. IF YOU'RE AFTER A GRAND HOTEL, THAT'S A DIFFERENT CATEGORY.

There are no mosquito screens on the windows, and air conditioning costs extra. The shower stalls are tiny, and there's no one available to talk to. The place has its own rules, almost like a military school. I wouldn't recommend it.

€70.00 is far too much for what you get. Breakfast was only sweet items, with a coffee machine that offered only instant drinks. I was there as a stopgap, and the room in the separate building wasn't bad, but the noisy air conditioning and windowless bathroom were a nuisance at night. There were no switches to turn off the lights or extractor fan, and no useful power outlets by the bedside table.

We picked this hotel for the quiet, away from the crowds, and had a great stay. I booked through Smartbox, and Sandra was kind and happy to share information and suggest different programs. Ostellato is about 20 km from the beaches. Our room was nice, clean, and well looked after. I'd recommend it.
