We loved it so much that we've decided to come back in August. The farm's setting and location are hard to put into words, and Catia and her staff are warm and hospitable. It feels original and works well for a family with children. Breakfast has plenty of options, and the pool is great. Ostra Vetere is only a 15-minute walk away, along a route with breathtaking views, and has several bars and restaurants. Still a great place to stay, as of 2023. A wonderful, wonderful visit. A lovely, quiet spot in breathtaking scenery, especially suited to nature lovers and anyone after a more individual, less touristy experience. The family who own it are warm and welcoming. ♡

The welcome was warm, and the setting is beautiful.

The views are lovely, but our stay felt more like basic camping than a hotel. It badly needed better cleanliness, hospitality, safety, and clear information. We got there after a long drive, following Google Maps down a road we couldn't pass. On arrival, nobody was there to welcome us and the keys were missing. The room was unlivable, with dust, hair, dead bugs, and fly droppings. We spent over two hours cleaning it. The host did a quick vacuum, but that didn't solve it. There were several wasp nests, including a huge one by the entrance, which my boyfriend removed at considerable risk. We reported them and were told this was “normal in the countryside.” The bathroom was dozens of metres down a dark path, run-down, and without basic toiletries. The pool was cloudy and unusable, and the paid breakfast was poor. Nobody clearly explained the amenities, so we had to make do.
