The countryside around the farm is beautiful, and we enjoyed walking along the Aquedotto. There are lovely little towns nearby, including Alberobello, where you can see more traditional Trulli-houses. At the farm, the animals were a highlight: our seven-month-old loved the three friendly dogs, and there's even a donkey. I also enjoyed a swim in the pool, tucked away in a quiet part of the grounds. We felt at home with Patricia and her family. Our renovated traditional Trulli-house was lovely and had everything we needed. Having a kitchen was especially useful while traveling with a baby. We also had a delicious dinner at the farm. We can absolutely recommend staying here. Thanks again for everything, we hope to come back one day! Otis + family

We came in November, near the end of the season, and rented three trulli apartments as a base for exploring Puglia. The food, service, and surroundings made us really happy. Breakfast each morning was fresh and lovely, with standard continental options. The pool looked beautiful, but it was too cold for us to swim. The kids had room to run around on the grass and enjoyed the little playset with its swing, mini climbing wall, and slide. We all liked seeing the friendly cats, dogs, and peacocks wandering around, and the toddlers made their morning rounds to visit the horses, donkeys, cows, and chickens. Our rooms were comfortable, updated, and warm even in the cold weather. Patrizia and her family were lovely throughout. They even lent us flour and butter when we decided to make a picnic lunch. It was a relaxing, beautiful stay, and I'd happily recommend it, especially for families or groups.

The trulli felt like something out of a fairytale, and the food was extraordinary. The family there made us feel like we belonged with them. Best vacation ever, a superb experience.

The countryside here is dotted with trulli, and seeing that architecture on the buildings all around made the area feel magical. With a car, it was convenient to visit the towns for shops, restaurants, and sightseeing. We're about a third of the way between Martina Franca and Ostuni, in a prime spot toward the southern end of the trulli area. There's also a rural grocery nearby with a deli and a modest restaurant where locals gather. On Friday nights it's packed, and they have 2 euro panzerottas, so it's a fun place to try for a meal or takeout. We stayed in Trullo Dragoncello. It was cool while we were there, but the heat was turned up nicely and the room was cozy. The pool was open, though the weather was too cool for us to enjoy it. Since we were the only guests during the first part of our early-season stay, breakfast came to our room and was generous: local fruit, fruit compote, delicious yogurt, fresh bread, meat and cheese, and freshly baked sweets. The farm has three dogs, horses, donkeys, cows, chickens, peacocks, and cats. It's too big to tour all of it, but we got a good feel for the place by seeing the free-roaming animals. We wanted a working masseria with animals, not just a hotel, and this was exactly that. It's a popular place with local proprietors. The family has owned the farm for many generations and has gradually added amenities while bringing a partly dormant rustic farm back to life. They were even getting ready to host a classic car show while we were there. Patrizia and the family were wonderful. Having the owners on site meant consistent communication, and they were attentive without hovering. They always helped with a smile and quickly took care of what we needed, even our laundry. We felt like part of the family. Thanks for a great stay, Patrizia and family. See you next time we're in Puglia!

Cows, cats, dogs, and purebred horses live on this interesting farm. The same family has owned it for over 1000 years.
