The breakfast at a local café was a lovely way to spend time with Bitetto residents and get a feel for the town. We were visiting my grandmother’s hometown, and staying at The Agora made the trip even better. The B&B is spotless, comfortable, and decorated in a modern style. We had a perfect stay, and the people there were wonderful. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place in Bitetto. See the photos of this pretty B&B.

The one thing to keep in mind is the stairs: Agorà is on the third floor of an old building, with no elevator, so it may not work well for older guests or anyone with mobility difficulties. Parking was easy to find on the surrounding streets and alleys. The rooms are clean and pleasant, with comfortable beds, and the B&B is quiet and right in the center. Bitetto itself is a peaceful, enjoyable village and a handy base for exploring central Puglia. For breakfast, Zenzero e Caffe has friendly service and plenty to choose from, including vegan desserts.

For a very reasonable price, you get a comfortable, newly renovated room right in the town center. The manager gave excellent service.

Liliana, who owns the B&B, was kind and helpful, and ready to take care of whatever we needed. The nearby café where breakfast is served is run by very kind people, too. Our room was clean and furnished with good taste, and the views from the windows over the medieval village were enchanting. We had a few peaceful, lovely days here. See you soon.

The cleaning was impeccable, and the woman who handled it was very kind and helpful. That was the one good part of a disappointing stay. The description is completely inaccurate: the property is on the third floor and has no elevator, and the listed amenities I found missing included an airport shuttle, free breakfast, and mineral water. My room had a broken bed, a faucet that came loose in my hands, and mold stains on parts of the ceiling. There were also guests recently released from prison knocking at the door, followed by police arriving to handcuff them. After I’d booked and paid in advance, I was asked for more money on the grounds that the booking website had mistakenly charged me for two people instead of three. That was obviously untrue. When I checked out, I requested an invoice, and the owner said she’d email it. We’ll see. I have documentation for everything I’ve written here.
