The location is a real plus, just 10 meters from the main square, and the little apartment is charming and cozy, with room for a family with two children. The young owners are extremely kind, patient, and available for questions. Getting inside is surprisingly difficult, though, because there's no sign or other directions, even at the street number. It's also an apartment rather than a bed and breakfast, so breakfast isn't included. The place overlooking the alley is comfortable, but it's odd that there's no towel rack in the bathroom. The owners are helpful, but seemed inexperienced and a bit confusing. I gave four stars mostly in the hope that these small things will improve over time. And Ostuni is beautiful enough to make even a makeshift refuge a lovely place to stay.

We were there for a week and would happily return. The place was clean, affordable, convenient, and had everything we needed. Its central location was excellent, especially compared with Ostuni's other steep, narrow streets. Breakfast is served at the bar, so you can pick what you like. The owners were lovely and made us feel like part of the family. Hugs to Mrs. Lucrezia and her husband, and kisses from Gennarino.

There's no kitchenette, which is the one thing I'd add. Still, I recommend the place: the staff are friendly and helpful, though they can be confusing with reservations. It's very central, just a few steps from the cathedral, but tucked away without signs to guide you in.

A lovely, unusual stone place, cool and dry inside, and just steps from the square. Lucrezia is delightful and always willing to help.
