The quiet, nature-filled setting is lovely if you want to relax, and the location is handy for Puglia’s best-known sights, with Ostuni just 10 minutes away. Famila supermarket is also 10 minutes away and was our regular shop throughout the stay. The place itself is truly beautiful. There were some problems, though. Cleaning wasn’t thorough, and a few things were broken or missing. The brick shower has no mat or curtain to stop water getting out, and the bathroom sink was clogged with hair, so water drained slowly. There was no toilet paper holder. The property also lacked the washing machine mentioned in the description, as well as a bucket or mop for cleaning the floor when needed. I consider those basic items, especially since guests are responsible for cleaning at the end of the stay. Privacy in the mornings was limited: a tractor came around 10:00 a.m. every day, and people sometimes worked right outside the door. The electric entrance gate often got stuck, which meant waiting 10 minutes to get in or out. Otherwise, if you’re organized, you can manage fine.

The setting among the olive trees is beautiful, and the stone floors look lovely inside and out. The furnishings are IKEA, in a Nordic style. There are three apartments, and ours, No. 3, had no air conditioning even though the website listing says it does. The beds were good, and the bathroom had a good shower, toilet, and bidet, but the sink drained only a little water. There was a nice small refrigerator with a small freezer, plus a microwave, espresso machine, gas hob, and sink.

There’s a green olive grove all around, and the place has the comforts you need for a relaxing stay and a chance to recharge. It’s also not far from the sea.
