Masseria La Grave

The owners were very welcoming and nice. Their English isn’t fluent, but with a bit of effort you can communicate quite well. They serve breakfast and dinner, though there isn’t much choice on the menu. The wife on the farm is a good cook. There’s a pool at the property, although we went to the coast to snorkel by the cliffs and caves. It’s a quiet, beautiful spot, just a 10 min drive from Ostuni, and the rooms have a romantic feel.

Agnese’s cooking deserves a special mention. She made us exquisite local dishes during our week in early October. The property had all the amenities we needed, and Agnese and Corrado were kind, while Daniele was always helpful. The owners also shared all the information we needed to explore the land of monumental olive trees surrounding the masseria. We felt at home and had a wonderful time. We’ll tell our friends and acquaintances about the stay.

Corrado was so helpful that he picked us up at the train station, since we were travelling by train and bus. His wife, Agnesa, made homemade cakes, jams, and yogurt for breakfast, and a typical dinner is available if you ask. The Masseria is a few kilometers from Ostuni, tucked away among olive groves, with a wonderful large pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat.
