We’re a family of four, and for a few days this place felt like getting together with friends we hadn’t realized we knew. By the final evening, there was a warm, intimate atmosphere with other guests and the owners’ friends. The sense of serenity, friendliness, and relaxation throughout the Masseria made a real difference to our stay. The value for money is excellent, unmatched in the area at this level, and that’s why I’ve given it the highest score. Some of the shortcomings mentioned in other reviews are easier to accept at these prices. If you want absolute perfection, you’ll need to pay quite a different price. There are things that need attention: Wi-Fi is only available in the common area; some spaces need renovation and tidying; there are issues with the kitchens and cutlery in the apartments, neglected bathroom areas, some cleanliness problems, and creaky windows and doors. Still, the young managers, Giorgio and Mariagrazia, and the staff show real care for guests. Their business began three years ago through the determination of a brother and sister, with their mother now supporting them, despite many difficulties and uncertainties. You can see the results of their passion and enthusiasm, along with their desire to keep improving. They pay attention to requests, serve traditional desserts, rare homemade jams, their own olive oil, and generous breakfasts with a few extras. They’re also willing to offer advice on the area, including its lesser-known sides. There’s plenty still to do, but you can feel something growing here. Best wishes to Giorgio and Mariagrazia.
