Masseria San Paolo Grande

The food was a real highlight for us. Masseria San Paolo Grande serves organic, farm-to-table dishes that were the best we ate in Puglia, with very fresh ingredients and flavors that felt authentic but still surprised us. We came for the quiet, and it was wonderfully peaceful, with birdsong and the pool as a backdrop. The property sits in untouched nature, well away from city life. The staff were always smiling, attentive, and caring, and even the little dogs made the stay feel warmer. I’d read a review saying it wasn’t relaxing, but honestly, I can’t imagine not unwinding here. It’s a beautiful place for peace and authentic charm. We’ll be back.

Our family and friends group had an unforgettable visit. The team welcomed us with so much warmth that it felt like staying with old friends in the countryside. The food was incredible, especially the dry-aged meat, probably the best we’ve had. It was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and tender enough to melt in your mouth. You could taste the care behind each ingredient. Everything, from the vegetables to the meat, is organic and raised right there on the land. It felt like a real taste of local quality and tradition. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return.

We had our three-day wedding celebration here, and it was perfect. The grounds are breathtaking, the food is delicious, and the whole team was incredible. Martino, Giorgio, and Germana were especially wonderful. We love animals, so Uma, Tom, Noah, and Grace the cat made it even more special. We’re so grateful to everyone and would absolutely recommend this place to other couples.

From the landscape to the people, we fell in love with the Masseria. The staff were so special and made it feel like home, and everything being organic was a lovely bonus. We stayed before visiting our wedding venue and plan to recommend it to our guests for before or after our wedding next year. The food was melt-in-your-mouth good and worth every penny. Nick was absolutely stellar. We also recommend the activities, from wine and olive oil tastings to cooking classes. We’ll be back!
