The room was much smaller and smellier than the photos suggested, and there was a lot of noise from breakfast and people coming into the building. We had to check out by 10:30, with a €25 charge if we stayed more than an hour past that. The jacuzzi was reserved for private use, so we couldn't use it when we wanted. A disappointment.

We were six people in three rooms, and none of us would recommend this place. Getting to the rooms meant climbing extremely narrow stairs, and the terrace was nearly as difficult to reach, up a tight spiral staircase. The pool bedroom was impossible to stay in because of the strong chlorine smell. The jacuzzi, advertised as a spa amenity, was booked and unavailable to us. There was no one to help with luggage or to speak to when we needed assistance. We couldn't get an invoice when we asked. The air conditioning wasn't working at first; after we called to complain, it was eventually turned on. The young woman who had checked us in was no longer there, and the instructions we'd received were unclear. Silvia later replied here that I hadn't known how to use the air conditioning, but the unit was behind metal bars that blocked access to the remote. Guests shouldn't have to guess the right angle to operate it, and the instructions should be explained clearly in person. The receptionist was rude when I politely asked for help, and the staff seemed unqualified and grumpy. We travel often, but wouldn't recommend this accommodation. I also feel that the positive reviews may be obscuring genuine complaints. Learn to treat paying guests with respect before criticizing them for describing their experience.

The breakfast was fabulous, and the rooms were lovely. The staff were amazing and I had a great stay. The steps are a little steep, but I'd definitely come back.

The stairs were steep, unlit, and felt dangerous, and there was nobody at the property to welcome us. It's an apartment building, not a hotel. The rooms were tiny, about 9 square meters, with just one small window, nothing like the listing photos. The pool shown in the pictures was somewhere else. We were told it was closed, and I suspect it's quite far away even when open. As soon as we arrived, we contacted the host about the difference between the listing and what we found. They wouldn't admit the listing was wrong or refund us. Instead, they demanded full payment for the few minutes we had to spend inside the room to inspect it, since nobody was there to greet us. We eventually worked with booking.com and got all our money back. I mainly want other travelers to avoid this awful experience.
