We chose this place on the strength of the reviews alone, having found it by chance, and my family and I will definitely return. Marco and Rossella were exceptional, always around and ready to help, and Mrs. Rossella made delicious desserts for breakfast that morning. It was a one-of-a-kind stay. Five stars, though I’d give more if I could. We highly recommend it!

The home cooking at nearby Lu Podere is delicious, with plenty of dishes and really good value. The farmhouse itself has spotless bungalows with verandas and gardens, as well as apartments. It’s also well placed for visiting Torre dell'Orso and Baia dei Turchi. We found it a peaceful spot in the greenery, and the Caggese family made us feel very welcome. Marco and Rossella really capture the lovely spirit of Salento. A great choice for couples or families.

Breakfast was a daily treat, always different and superb, with fabulous cakes. The family who runs the place clearly puts a lot of heart into it, and we felt really looked after. Our wooden bungalow was spacious, lovely and spotless. The farmhouse is surrounded by nature and wonderfully quiet, and it’s handy for getting to Otranto and the Salento beaches. Highly recommended.

The owner was so kind, and everything felt professional. I’ve never stayed anywhere this clean. I’m short of words, it was the best holiday of my life. We’ll come back and tell everyone about it. Thank you.

We loved the bungalow and its neat little private garden behind a hedge. The mattresses were good and the place was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fruit and what might be the best pasticciotti in Salento. The owners were lovely, kind and always helpful. There’s a beautiful sea a pleasant ten-minute walk away, and Lu Podere next door is a great spot for dinner. We’d be glad to return.
