Balcone su Otranto

With the historic center just a few steps away, this place is ideally set on a seafront square in a pedestrian area with gardens and benches. There are pastry shops and ice cream places nearby, and some offer a good breakfast. The welcome and service were very satisfactory. Parking is close, and you can pull up a few meters away briefly to unload bags. Excellent accommodation, highly recommended.

The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay: hot water, a fridge, comfy beds, Wi-Fi, a wardrobe, and access for guests with disabilities. From this historic building, the view takes in the seafront and/or Otranto castle. B&B Balcone su Otranto sits right on the main street in the old town, so all the lovely places here are just a short walk away. Signor Nuzzo was very kind, helping us find parking and carry our luggage to the room. He showed us the room's comforts and where to go for the breakfast included in our package. We also got an Otranto card straight away, which gave us discounts at some local services. I hope to return to Otranto soon, and I'd choose this B&B again :)

We could barely manage all the food they brought, but everything was delicious. The staff were really friendly, and the price felt fair for the quality. We had a complimentary appetizer, a generous mixed appetizer to share, a very good first course with an excellent selection of starters, a second course with spectacular meat, and two glasses of wine. They don't serve seafood. Recommended!

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and this B&B is right on the main street, just meters from Otranto's two beaches. A good spot for a relaxing break in the heart of the city.
