We were really pleased with how clean the apartment was and with its amenities during our August stay. Free street parking is available, with a paid garage as another option, and you can walk into the city center easily. The nearby beaches, including torre dell’orso and baia dei turchi, are a short drive away, and the sea is also reachable on foot. For a port city, Otranto's sea is the best I've seen by far. Highly recommend.

The staff were pleasant, and the apartment is close to the beautiful town of Otranto. But the place I first got was grubby, musty, and full of ants. After I complained, they moved us to another apartment in a different building. It was above a supermarket, which was handy, but it opened at 7 and the delivery and trolley noise started then. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not.

The room's made from ancient rock, which gives it a really cool feel, and it had everything, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Underground parking was useful, and the people were very friendly. Clean, awesome place. About a 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the beautiful city center. Highly recommend for a visit to Otranto.

Bianca Mare has a lot going for it: apartment no. 3 on Level 1 is attractive and spacious, in a good location, and feels very secure. The dated décor and lack of functionality let it down, though. Some advertised features were missing or didn't work. There was no oven or kettle, and worst of all, the internet was inconsistent and had technical problems. We ended up using our expensive international roaming data for entertainment and to look up tourist information.
