Marika's House Otranto

The location was so handy: beside a grocery store, about five minutes on foot from the beach, and under ten minutes from the old town. Breakfast was another highlight, with Nana’s homemade cakes and pastries and a lovely spread of local ingredients. Franco, Nana, Antonino, and Anais made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They were always ready to answer questions or suggest places to go, and really went out of their way to make the stay special. This was our best B&B experience. We miss chatting over breakfast and bonding over our Frenchies, and hope to come back next time we’re in Otranto. Grazie!

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very nice, and we had a generous, delicious breakfast with Nana’s homemade cakes and sweets. The location worked perfectly for us, with a wonderful beach a few minutes away on foot, the historic town centre about ten minutes away, and street parking available. What made the stay especially lovely was Franco, Nana, their daughter Anais, and her partner. They were the most welcoming people we met on our holiday, always cheerful and clearly cared about their guests. They made us feel at home straight away. Many thanks to them for a wonderful stay. I’d thoroughly recommend Vele d'Otranto, and if we’re lucky enough to return to Ontranto, we’ll stay there again. Jim & Daphne

Nana’s homemade sweets were delicious and beautifully presented, and the breakfast exceeded what we expected. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated, with modern, convenient bathrooms. Franko and Nana, thank you for being so friendly and kind. We also loved the homemade limoncello we tried at breakfast 😊. You’re amazing hosts, and we’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast had lots to choose from, especially the delicious cakes. Our hosts were so welcoming, and they even gave us a parking space right outside. The room was superbly appointed.
