We only stayed three nights, and were already thinking about coming back. Chalet al Cucù is in a hamlet of Ovaro that’s easy to reach by car, and it’s such a peaceful, comfortable spot. The spa is on one of the three floors, with a gentle whirlpool tub, sauna, Turkish bath, and sofas where you can have hot herbal tea. The kitchen and living room are on the first floor, the bedrooms upstairs, and there’s a bathroom on every floor. The place feels welcoming throughout, with lots of care in the details. You can tell Flavio and his brother put a lot of love and effort into building it. Flavio greeted us warmly and was kind without intruding during our stay. We almost kept quiet about it because we want to return and didn’t want the place to get too much attention, but credit where it’s due. We absolutely loved the chalet.

Everything was clean and carefully looked after, and the chalet itself is lovely. The little spa downstairs has a sauna, Turkish bath, and hot tub, which made the quiet setting even better for a really relaxing break. The owners were very kind. I recommend it.

We came across this chalet online by chance, and the views from the windows of woods and mountains were what first won us over. It’s a lovely place to get away from the rush of everyday life. Inside, everything was spotless and in excellent shape, with thoughtful furnishings and nothing missing. The spa makes the stay feel like a dream, with a sauna, Turkish bath, couples’ hydromassage, and Bluetooth music from your phone. Flavio was very friendly, discreet, and ready to help with our requests. We’ll definitely be back as soon as we can.

It’s a peaceful spot at the foot of Mount Zoncolan, and the renovated chalet has been cared for down to the details. The owner was kind and happy to answer our questions. There’s a lovely little spa on the ground floor for an extra charge. We’ll be back!

The owner was friendly and attentive, and the chalet was spotless. It’s been beautifully renovated, with a private spa where you can slow down and enjoy some peace and quiet. A fantastic stay when you need a bit of pampering. Five stars don’t cover it!
