Carru de ammentos

Giuseppina was wonderfully helpful when my companion accidentally left an important item behind. She tracked it down and helped get it back to us, staying cheerful and professional throughout. She was also kind and easy to communicate with during our stay. She told us Carru de Ammentos is the family home where she grew up, though she now lives in a country home outside town. The BnB is named for her grandfather, a master cart maker, whose picture hangs prominently in the living room. The BnB is right on Via Roma in the center of Ozieri, a lovely medieval town on a hillside. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the shower hot and good. We could use the well-equipped kitchen, living room, and breakfast porch, and continental breakfast was provided. We had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend it.

Being right in the city center was a real plus, with everything we needed just outside the BnB. The owner was so friendly and kind, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was on point too. I had an incredible stay! 👌🏻

The central spot made it easy to get around and find everything nearby. I loved the beautifully furnished, spotless rooms, with Wi-Fi and thoughtful details. Mrs. Giuseppina was attentive, kind, and always ready to help. She greeted me with a genuine smile each day and shared useful advice. I felt welcomed like family, and my stay became more than a trip, it was the start of a lovely friendship. I had a wonderful time and would recommend this B&B to anyone hoping to feel at home while away.

Carru de Ammentos has a soul. It's centrally located, bright, clean, warm, and has a family feel. Guests can use what they need, even grab an extra towel from another room. There are no closed doors here. I appreciated the simple, clean place, and one morning Giuseppina left Ozieri sweets on my table just because she knew I liked them. She treated me like a relative visiting, told me about her family, her birthplace which is now the B&B, and the stories of the town she loves. Every morning she checked how I'd slept, then in the evening asked about the places I'd seen. Her attention made my few days in Ozieri so pleasant. I'll tell everyone about her hospitality and the lovely people of Sardinia. Five stars don't cover it, it deserves at least twice that. Sardinia stays with you. The scenery shifts behind the windshield, and the island's history and traditions are everywhere. But it's especially the people: Sardinians are welcoming, friendly, kind, smiling, and ready to help.
