Baglio Bellavista

The view of the salt pans from the terrace is spectacular, and the location made it easy to visit the area's main sights, including the salt pans, the Salt Museum, Trapani, and Erice. My husband and I stayed here in May and had a lovely time. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, especially the pane cunzato made each morning by the lady with fresh, delicious bread. The owners were thoughtful and kind. We were glad they spent some time with us sharing the history of the Baglio. We'd warmly recommend it to anyone looking for a few relaxing, pleasant days in a place rich in history. The owners were kind and ready to help with anything, and the lady was especially sweet. She even picked up some "batticuore" cookies to make my son happy. We came from Verona and stayed for 3 nights, and had a great time. The rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was excellent with everything we needed, and the place is very close to central Trapani. Highly recommended!

There's a lot of room for improvement here. The location is good and the outdoor area is nice, but the property has potential that isn't being used. It should have an indoor lounge too. Our room was damp, the bathroom needs updating, and breakfast was barely adequate. We didn't get the proper attention as guests.

Breakfast with homemade cake and "cunzato" bread was a treat for the whole family. Giovanni and his family made us feel at home throughout our stay. The rooms were large, welcoming, and very clean. The Baglio is a piece of Sicilian history and a handy base for exploring the Trapani area, just two minutes from the Salt Museum. Highly recommended.
