The casa is tucked down an alley off the main square, about a two-minute walk into the old town. That setting is part of the genuine experience, though it’s worth knowing in advance. Inside, it has lovely old-world character, nice views, and feels more like a family’s holiday home than an investment rental. It’s better furnished and decorated than many places we’ve rented, and everything worked as it should. I’ll remember our stay fondly.

The village view from the house was enchanting, and the place was spotless and warm, with efficient heating. It worked really well for our family weekend: the house has three floors, and our 8- and 9-year-old loved having the attic bunk bed to themselves. We slept in the basement bedroom, which was just as comfortable. A lovely choice for a relaxing family break somewhere special.

Everything was very clean, and the house was wonderfully quiet. It’s a charming standalone place right in the historic center of Pacentro, with everything you need for a comfortable stay and then some. Highly recommend it.
