I spent two days at la Quercia while in Sicily and needed somewhere to work. The host gave me a room with a desk and bathroom, and even made me coffee and lunch. The wifi was great on the terrace, where I could relax during the day, and I used the room desk for meetings. I had a lovely time and would stay there again on my next trip to Sicily. Highly recommend for digital nomads!

La Quercia made such a welcoming stop on our Sicily road trip in August 2019 that we added another day. The hostess was lovely to chat with over a fresh cappuccino, and she shared lots of ideas for things to do around Pachino. The rooms were spacious, modern, and still homey. Our bathroom was newly redone and spotless, with soft towels, a hairdryer, and all the needed accessories; the air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast on the patio was generous, with fresh coffee, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, and sweet pastries. There’s a lovely terrace with a garden, plus free parking. A car is recommended because Pachino is small and not right by the sea, though lovely beaches and Marzamemi are only a ten-minute drive away. Marzamemi is picturesque, but can be crowded at weekends. La Quercia is well placed between the hilly Ragusa region and historic, mysterious Syracusa, with Noto, Modica, Ragusa, and plenty to see around Pachino also within reach. Just ask the hostess for tips. We’d gladly come back!

We hadn’t booked ahead, but the owners still gave us a nice welcome. The place was comfortable, clean, and modern, in a quiet village with lots of restaurants, bars, and beaches. Marzamemi, a lovely fishing village, is 3 km away.

I came from Canada, and this B&B made my trip to Pachino excellent. It’s very clean and everyone was friendly. The lovely exterior gives a good first impression, and inside is just as amazing. Great coffee places and pizzerias are only a short walk away.
