Don't book here. The place is old and dirty, and the area of Padua felt awful. At night, I saw people dealing drugs by the door. The rooms are shabby too: the bathroom window was broken and patched with yellow tape. I also found a cockroach in the bathroom, which felt unhygienic. Breakfast was just a plastic basket in the room with an industrial croissant, a bottle of water, and a banana. I didn't like anything about this stay and would absolutely advise booking somewhere else.

The host let us leave our bags after checkout, and the furniture seemed fairly new. The bathroom was okay, and the place is right by the train station. But after we arrived at 21:00, already tired and wanting to get dinner, the host spent 40 minutes trying to persuade us to visit a particular sight in town. We appreciated the suggestion, but 5-10 minutes would have been enough, and the long talk really got on our nerves. Later, a spider bit one of us in bed. That's unacceptable.

We felt at ease from the moment our host welcomed us. He shared useful tips about the area, helped whenever we needed something, and kept checking that we were comfortable. His warmth and genuine care made the visit memorable, almost like staying with a friend. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place.

The rooms were clean, the location was great, and breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. The hosts were friendly and helpful too. Those mini espressos were a nice bonus :)

The owner was what made our stay special. He was warm and welcoming, always ready with local tips or help with any problems, and made sure everything was going well. You really feel at home here. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting.
