The living room is so spacious that it makes an impression as soon as you walk in. The kitchen is large too, along with the master bedroom. There are also two single-bed rooms, another bedroom with a baby grand piano and sofa bed, plus a bedroom/storage space with a shelf, iron, and exercise equipment. Two bathrooms round things out, one with a tub and the other with a shower. The libraries are particularly worth seeing. This is a beautiful old building right in central Padua, opposite the Coin Bank. The apartment keeps its original character, with the family aiming to give guests a feel for an earlier time. It still has conveniences like a dishwasher and flat-screen TV, and one bathroom is accessible for people with disabilities. There’s a small, working elevator. The area is a restricted traffic zone. A 24-hour multi-story car park is nearby, as is paid outdoor parking. I’d read comments about there being no hot water, but that wasn’t our experience. The water gets very hot, though the older systems mean it takes a while. The owner is delightful and available for whatever you need.
