I was in padova for a week and had some good meals, along with forgettable ones at a few highly regarded restaurants. I found this place in the Michelin guide and was surprised there were so few reviews, but the menu looked good, so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did. The food was the best I had all week. The testaroli with pesto was incredible. I also had eggplant parmigiana and pumpkin flan. Service was nice too. Definitely recommend!

Maybe the high rating comes from hotel reviews getting mixed in with the restaurant's. The place is nice, but the food didn't stand out. The scallop starter and chicken dish were poor, though the pasta with shrimp and the fried fish were good. Nice enough, just nothing special to merit such a strong recommendation.

The restaurant is pretty good, with a nice range of regional dishes. It isn't amazing, and it is the hotel restaurant, but it's a good meal if you're already there. Reviews seem to get mixed up with the hotel too. There are other places to try nearby in the historic center.

We stopped in for dinner on the spur of the moment. Friendly staff and great food made for a really nice experience.

We waited almost an hour, even though the restaurant was only two-thirds full. They still couldn't bring us the creamed cod appetizer, which was supposed to be ready by then. It's a shame, because the place is inspiring. The staff are good, but there aren't enough of them to keep service moving normally, so I wouldn't recommend it.
